THE BEGININGS OF THE ELECTRIC ENERGY PRODUCTION

Electricity generation started when Alessandro Volta(1745-1825) made the first electric battery.
Hans Christian Oersted discovered that a electric current can disturb a compass. The same happens when we put close a magnet, so he concluded that the circuit created an artificial magnet.
Mr Michael Faraday had an idea, if a electric current can create an artificial magnet, can a magnet create an artificial electric current? Yes!!
So Mr Michael Faraday discovered that we can create electricity with a magnet that is moving near a close circuit.

First, here you have the list of the nominees in the official page: NOMINEES

-Complete list with all the winners: OSCAR'S WINNERS '14

-A video with the highlight moments of the ceremony: OSCAR'S CEREMONY 2014

(And in case you want to have a look or remember the winners' list of last year's ceremony you can see it here: OSCAR'S WINNERS '13)

And just to finish I can't talk about the ceremony without talking about my beautiful Jennifer Lawrence. She didn't win any prize but everybody have been talking about her, her dress (she was one of the best dressed)*, her photo with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and other famous actors in the middle of the ceremony, and of course about her fall (like last year's fall when she was going into the stage to catch her Oscar)

Technology and carnival

Carnival is arriving! There are many costumes, like princess, sailor, cowboy... But all years so many people wear the same, and it's boring so If you want to be the most original and funny person see this costumes. (Most of them have a relationship with technology so for this reason I put them in my blog)

Hope you enjoy them xx.

Do you know there are immortal worms?

Researchers at the University of Nottingham have demonstrated how planarian worms have an apparent limitless ability to regenerate by replacing aged or damaged tissues and cells. In normal cases, when stem cells divide they begin to show sings of ageing and are no longer able to divide effectively.

As a result, they become less capable of replacing specialised cells in the tissues of our bodies, which is why human skin visibly ages. The stem cells of planarian worms, however, are able to avoid this ageing process and keep their cells dividing.

Here you`ve got a video to understand it better
